AMPed Academy Summer Semester

Farmington Hills Campus
June 24th – August 15th, 2024

Mondays through Thursdays, 9 AM to 3 PM
Rising 1st through 9th Grades

Is the AMPed Summer Semester school or a camp?

It’s both! The summer semester is a fully encapsulated program. For students currently enrolled in the AMPed Academy, they will recognize the format of project-based learning that is similar to their daily activities at the school. For students not enrolled, they can jump right in and participate in projects and enjoy learning in a fun and educational program that doesn’t feel like school!

What does a day at AMPed Summer Semester look like?

Summer is the perfect time for learning.  Nice weather, longer days, and fewer responsibilities mean kids are free to explore, ponder, investigate, and deepen their understanding of the world.

Each cohort has their own important project to work on this summer.  Maybe you’re helping design, build, and promote a new community garden.  Maybe you’re developing a way to protect some of the native species that frequent our property.  Maybe your cohort is planning an end of summer carnival with games, prizes, snacks, and more.
