Our Duplo® STEM Class introduces preschool and kindergarten learners to real science and engineering concepts—through hands-on building, playful experimentation, and guided discovery.

Using the official LEGO® Education STEAM Park set, children design moving rides, build mini theme parks, explore ramps and gears, and experiment with motion, cause-and-effect, and problem-solving—all in an age-appropriate, engaging environment.

This is early STEM done the right way: learning through play.

What Your Child Will Do

Each week, students work collaboratively to:

Build moving structures like cars, rides, and interactive models
Explore ramps, gears, pushes, pulls, and motion
Test ideas, make predictions, and observe outcomes
Solve simple problems through trial, error, and redesign
Express ideas through building, storytelling, and discussion

Activities are designed to spark curiosity while developing confidence, creativity, and foundational STEM thinking.

What They’re Learning (Without It Feeling Like “School”)

This class supports early skills in:

Engineering & Problem-Solving – designing, testing, and improving builds
Science Concepts – motion, cause and effect, floating vs. sinking, simple machines
Math Foundations – counting, comparing, measuring, and sorting
Communication & Collaboration – working in pairs, sharing ideas, explaining thinking

Lessons follow LEGO® Education’s proven 4-phase learning approach: Connect → Construct → Contemplate → Continue, keeping kids engaged while reinforcing understanding.

Experience Level: No prior STEM or LEGO® experience needed

Open play admission included for class participants, including for siblings.
