Party Policies
Thank you for choosing AMPed Discovery Space for your celebration! To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review the following party policies.
These policies apply specifically to birthday parties and private celebrations. All standard facility rules (socks, supervision, illness policy, nut-free policy, respectful play, etc.) also apply and can be found here:

Booking & Payments

Parties may be booked online or in person with an AMPed staff member.

When booking online, deposits become non-refundable after 48 hours to allow guests time to confirm plans.

When booking in person, deposits are non-refundable immediately.
-
The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 days before the scheduled party date.

Additional time must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and additional fees.
Party Duration, Arrival & Facility Access

Parties include exclusive use of the entire AMPed Discovery Space facility.
-
Hosts may arrive up to 30 minutes before the party start time to set up.
-
Hosts must complete cleanup and remove all personal items within 30 minutes after the scheduled end time.

Early entry or late departure beyond these windows may not be available due to other events.
Guest Count & Supervision

For party purposes, children are defined as ages 1–11.
-
Each party package includes a specified number of participating children.
-
Additional children may be added for a per-child fee.
-
At least one responsible adult from the hosting family must remain on site for the entire event.
-
AMPed staff support your event but do not provide one-on-one child supervision.
Food & Nut-Free Requirements

All food and drinks must remain in the café area or designated party areas.
-
No food or beverages are permitted in the play areas.
-
AMPed Discovery Space is a strictly nut-free facility.
-
Do not bring any nut-containing products into the building, even if not intended for consumption.

We take all reasonable steps to maintain a nut-free environment but cannot guarantee complete allergen absence.

Decorations & Set-Up
-
Decorations must be easy to remove and may not damage walls or surfaces.
-
Allowed: tablecloths, banners with wall-safe tape, balloons kept in designated areas.

Not allowed: confetti, glitter, silly string, adhesive that harms surfaces.
-
No staples, tacks, glue, or tape that causes damage.
Cake & Candles
-
Candles may be used with adult supervision.
-
Sparkler candles or flame-effect candles are not permitted.
Socks & Safety Requirements

Children must wear full-coverage grippy socks with grips across the entire sole (similar to trampoline-park socks).
-
Socks with small brand-name grips are not sufficient.
-
Adults must wear socks or disposable shoe booties (provided on site if needed).

Grippy socks are available for purchase at the front desk.
Photography – Promotional Use

You are welcome to take your own photos.
-
AMPed may take photos or videos for promotional purposes.
-
Families may notify staff at check-in if they prefer not to appear in promotional content.
Cancellations, Deposits & Rescheduling

Deposits become non-refundable after 48 hours for online bookings, and are non-refundable immediately for in-person reservations.
-
Rescheduling requests must follow the terms provided at booking.
-
In the event AMPed must close due to weather or safety, we will assist with rescheduling at no additional cost.
Cleaning Expectations & Cleaning Fees
Different party packages include different levels of cleanup support:
Discovery Package (No Party Host)

Hosts are responsible for:

Putting toys back where they belong
-
Ensuring trash, plates, cups, and food waste are thrown away

Leaving no noticeable messes (food spills, sticky residue, large debris, etc.)

Adventure & Imagination Packages (With Party Host)

Hosts must ensure toys are put away.

The party host will assist with:

Trash pickup

Basic wiping and tidying
-
General post-party reset of the café and party areas
-
Excessive Cleaning Fee
AMPed reserves the right to charge an excessive cleaning fee if the facility requires significant additional cleaning beyond the expectations listed above.
Liability Waivers

A liability waiver is required for every guest, including adults without children.

Waivers should be completed prior to the party.

A waiver link will be provided as part of your booking and can be included in invitations.
