To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all families, we ask all visitors to follow the rules and policies below.

General Admission

Supervision

Children must be accompanied and actively supervised by an adult at all times unless they are enrolled in an AMPed-staffed drop-off program, such as camps, special events, or designated early-childhood activities. For all general or open-play sessions, parents and caregivers must remain on site and are responsible for their child’s supervision.

Age Limit

AMPed Discovery Space is designed for children aged 0–12 years. Age restrictions for specific areas or activities must be respected.

Socks-Only Indoors

For hygiene and safety:

  • Children must wear non-slip socks at all times in the play area.

  • Adults must wear socks (non-slip not required).

  • No shoes or bare feet are allowed indoors.

Health & Illness

To keep everyone safe, please visit us another day if you or your child show signs of illness (fever, cough, runny nose, vomiting, etc.).

Food & Drink

Eating and drinking are allowed only in designated areas.

Permitted items:

  • Water

  • Baby formula

  • Baby food

Not permitted:

  • Outside snacks or meals

  • Gum

  • Outside beverages

Nut-Free Policy

AMPed Discovery Space is a nut-free environment. To help protect children with allergies, we ask all guests to:

  • Refrain from bringing any nut-containing products into the building
    (including snacks, meals, candies, baked goods, lotions, and personal items that contain nuts or nut oils—even if they are not intended for consumption).

  • Check labels carefully before entering the facility.

We will make every reasonable effort to maintain a nut-free space; however, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of nut allergens at all times. Families with severe allergies should remain vigilant and take any precautions they feel are necessary.

Outdoor Area

Access

All guests must enter through the main entrance and check in before using the outdoor area. No access is permitted directly from the parking lot.

Seasonal Availability

The outdoor area is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting. AMPed Discovery Space may close the outdoor area at any time for safety or operational reasons.

Supervision

The outdoor area is fenced but not secured. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Water Use

The hose and water spigot in the outdoor area may only be used by staff.

Safety & Conduct

Respectful Play

We expect all visitors to engage in safe, respectful play. Roughhousing, bullying, unsafe behavior, or misuse of toys/equipment is not allowed. Families may be charged for damage caused by purposeful misuse.

Personal Belongings

AMPed Discovery Space is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

Injury Reporting

Please report any injuries or accidents to staff immediately.

Facility Care

Help us keep the center clean and well-maintained. Report any spills, damage, or cleanliness concerns to staff.

Capacity

Please follow staff instructions regarding capacity limits within play areas or during activities. These limits ensure safety and an enjoyable experience for all guests.

Bookings & Admissions

Booking Visits

We encourage guests to book visits online in advance. All visitors must complete a liability waiver prior to entry. Members should also schedule their visits online.

Drop-in Visits

Drop-ins are welcome as long as capacity allows, including for sessions where pre-booked guests have not yet arrived.

Cancellation

Please refer to the cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking for information on refunds or rescheduling.

Photography & Privacy

Respect for Others

Guests should avoid taking photos or videos of other children without the permission of their parent or guardian.

Promotional Use

AMPed Discovery Space may capture photos or videos for promotional purposes. This is covered in our liability waiver; however, families may notify staff at check-in if they prefer not to be included in promotional content.

Liability Waiver

All visitors must sign a liability waiver acknowledging the inherent risks associated with play structures, equipment, and physical activity. Parents or legal guardians must sign for minors.

Enforcement

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, staff may ask guests who do not follow the rules to leave the facility.
