Meet the Author: Sandy Ciaramitaro (The Good Eggs)

Local author Sandra Ciaramitaro will be joining us on Saturday, September 28th from 10-11 am to read the first book on her The Good Eggs series and to do a book-related craft.

About the book: Meet Seggourney, Reggie, Megg and Greggory! They are four good friends that live and go to school in the small town of Albumen. They learn about Understanding, Forgiveness, Gratitude, Generosity, Cooperation, Love, Acceptance, Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Confidence and Manners, They know that with some kindness and concern, a difference can be made in their lives!

Sandy Ciaramitaro is a local children’s book author and graduate from University of Detroit Mercy. Her career as a teacher inspired her to write The Good Eggs series after witnessing firsthand the positive impact reading has on children of all ages. She is also the Founder and President of The Good Eggs Foundation, which grew out of the book series. The Foundation is dedicated to helping children in our metro Detroit area with educational resources and basic needs, and net proceeds from book sales go directly to the Foundation.
